Introduction Prince William County Public Works, Environmental Services Divisionis seeking for an experienced engineer with exceptional communication skills tofill the role of an Engineering Manager in the Watershed Management Branch.
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and supervise the Stormwater Inspection & Inventory and Drainage Improvement programs.
The ideal candidatewill be a team player andpossess experience in civil engineering, supervising employees, and providing outstanding customer service.
This position will provide theoverall support to the entire Division on Stormwater management (SWM), drainage and SWM inspections.
The candidate will also oversee the GIS team on storm drainage and SWM inventory.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
This position will report to Watershed Management Branch Chief and will provide overall support toa large Branch within Environmental Services Division.
PREFERENCES:
the successful candidate will have Education and experience in civil engineering, specific to Stormwater Management (SWM), design of storm drainage systems, drainage improvement and construction.
Excellent Communication skills Experience in supervising a team of professionals and handling multiple priorities.

None ENTRY SALARY RANGE:
$85,015.

MINIMUM EDUCATION,TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of related experience.
SPECIALREQUIREMENTS As assigned:
Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Positions in this class typically require:
climbing, balancing, stooping, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
