Job Description:
We are looking a savvy Social Media Marketing intern who is creative, motivated, and passionate about marketing. The intern role is crucial to ensuring the success of our marketing and sales efforts. Interns should expect to come in and make a difference on a daily basis. Everyone at the company is enthusiastic about being here and it is apparent to our clients! The successful candidate will be proactive in all aspects of the role and have impeccable attention to detail. The role requires a wide understanding of social media and digital marketing.
Primary
Responsibilities: Optimization Strategies
Identify and implement strategies for increasing social media presence
Conducting research and reports on key developments in e-mail & social media industry news
Competitive e-mail and social media analysis
Experienced with online tracking and analytics tools (Google Analytics)
Tracking and Reporting of all e-mail and social media activities
Continually monitor and maximize traffic and sales
Create and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for multiple e-mail and social promotions
Social Account Management
Social Media experience (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Excellent Communication Skills
Engage customer and prospects in a social conversation about the product.
Work with customer service to resolve customer complaints and issues posted online
Qualifications:
Applicants should also have experience in the essential duties outlined above.
In-depth knowledge of social media performance analysis and web analytic
Proficient in the use Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc. . . .
Self-directed when faced with support issues
Knowledge and advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, V Lookups, etc.)
Experience in querying and downloading reports from the Internet and creating reports
Excellent verbal communication skills
An ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and overall flexibility
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment along with the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine
Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibilities
