We seek to hire a motivated, highly organized Administrative Coordinator.
Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated, and detailed-oriented professional who will provide administrative support for the Department of Public Works Directors Office.
About This Role:
The Administrative Coordinator will organize, prioritize, and monitor many of the Director's Office administrative and financial functions, perform a variety of tasks such as overseeing payroll; issue purchase orders and process payments; support human resources related activities; prepare and review documents; attend meetings and draft meeting minutes; manage documents and filing systems; order and maintain supplies; provide office access and answer phones; scheduling and calendar management, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
This position will also support a team of professional staff and will routinely engage with employees within Public Works and other departments, at times providing direction to support personnel.
In addition, this position will be responsible for facilitating and tracking Prince William County CXO documents and County Board items.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.
E.
D.
and three (3) years of related experience.

Preferences:
An Associate degree or higher.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Payroll experience Special Requirements:
Have or obtain notary license within six months of employment.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time Monday - Friday 9:

Overtime eligible.
Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
Starting Salary Range:
$27.
