The position will be including nursing assessments, wound care, dressing changes, patient education, and other nursing related duties.
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State LicenseRN-Associate's Degree ORRN-Bachelor's Degree ORRN-Diploma ORRN-Master's Degree ORRN-Doctorate DegreeNew Hire Education Requirement:
All new RNs who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to enrollment in an accredited RN to BSN program within 24 months of hire and successfully obtaining their BSN within 5 years of hire.
Preferred:
BSNWound Care experienceWOCN - this can be completed after hireAt the Sentara Wound Healing Center , we provide comprehensive wound healing treatments to patients suffering from non-healing or chronic wounds.
From hyperbaric oxygen therapy to infectious disease management, our specialists will assess patient symptoms and determine the underlying cause of their non-healing wound.
Our wound healing team work with the referring physician and patient to customize the most effective treatment plan to stimulate healing.
